Chicago brings one of the more underrated starting pitching profiles into this matchup. Grant Taylor Martin has been excellent this season with a 2.41 ERA and 1.10 WHIP across a solid workload, while the market continues to price Gerrit Cole based more on reputation than recent form.

Cole's season ERA still looks respectable, but his recent performances have been much less dominant, carrying a 5.79 ERA over his last several outings.
