There aren't many games on today's MLB board that stood out after running everything through our full research process, but one matchup kept coming back to the top.

Seattle Mariners First 5 Innings Moneyline

This play is all about the starting pitching matchup.

Bryce Miller has been outstanding this season. He's carrying a 1.71 ERA with elite command and has consistently kept hitters off balance. More importantly, he limits traffic on the bases and gives Seattle a chance to get out in front early.

Miami has been playing good baseball lately, and that's exactly why we're staying away from the full-game moneyline. Instead, we're isolating the first five innings and focusing on what we believe is the biggest edge in this matchup, the starting pitchers.

Janson Junk has been solid at times, but this is a significant step up in competition. Seattle has the advantage on the mound, and that's where we want our money.

We also liked the pitcher-friendly environment in Miami, which should help Miller continue doing what he's done all season.

We're keeping today's card selective. There are plenty of games with weather concerns, bullpen questions, and uncertain lineups, so we're sticking with the spots that still hold value.
