Despite Javier’s solid ERA, he remains limited in workload, this is only his fifth start post Tommy John surgery, and he’s shown control issues he has a notably high walk rate, and reduced velocity compared to pre-injury levels. Rodón is firmly back to ace-level form: a high strikeout total (177 Ks), consistent quality starts, and a sharp 1.08 WHIP make him a dominant road presence.

Given this clear edge in the starting pitching match-up, even with bullpen concerns on both sides, the Yankees hold the upper hand. That's why we see the line on the more heavy side and I'm all about it.
