Toledo comes into this matchup against Akron as a heavy favorite, sitting around -21 on the spread, and it makes sense given the gap in talent and consistency between the two teams. The Rockets’ defense has been one of the stronger units in the MAC, and they should make life difficult for Akron quarterback Ben Finley, who has struggled with turnovers and protection issues when facing quality opponents.
