Welcome to the Wild Card Round of the 2023 NFL Playoffs! The excitement has begun! We saw the Seattle Seahawks put up a great fight against the San Francisco 49ers in the first half of Saturday's opening game, but very quickly we realized how scary the San Francisco 49ers are as a football team. The 49ers came out in the 2nd half and dominated the Seattle Seahawks for the win and the cover!
The 2nd game on Saturday Night between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Los Angeles Chargers was a "WOW" Game. It was a Big WOW! We saw Trevor Lawrence start the game very shaky. He looked nervous. He made mistakes. He threw 4 interceptions in the 1st half. The Chargers led 27-0! Not so fast Sunshine! Trevor Lawrence came back in the second half and chipped away at the Chargers lead. Going into the 4th quarter the score was Chargers 30 - Jaguars 20. I think we all kind of felt it coming. We weren't sure exactly what was going to happen to finish the game, but we felt something coming. Sure enough Trevor Lawrence led his team to a 31-30 victory, by scoring 11 points in the 4th quarter.
That's how the playoffs started on Saturday. Now today we have 3 NFL Wild Card Games.
Dolphins vs. Bills
Giants vs. Vikings
Ravens vs. Bengals
