The Browns and Steelers meet Sunday in an AFC North matchup that most people associate with defense. While these teams have a history of physical, low-scoring games, we see an opportunity with the total sitting at 38.5.
These teams already met earlier this season, with Cleveland winning 27-24. That game produced 51 combined points, and while one previous matchup doesn't guarantee another high-scoring result, it shows that both offenses are capable of putting points on the board against each other.
Pittsburgh is also dealing with injuries in its secondary. Defensive backs Brandin Echols and Doneiko Slaughter were ruled out with hamstring injuries, while Cleveland has dealt with injury concerns involving defensive backs Myles Harden and Daniel Thomas.
Those injuries could create opportunities for both passing attacks, especially if the offenses can establish some rhythm early.
