Florida enters this matchup on the second night of a back-to-back, and their defensive structure has struggled on the road, showing fatigue and poor save percentages early in the season. New Jersey, meanwhile, is returning home and should be energized for their opener. With fresher legs, a stronger top-six, and the advantage of home ice, the Devils have the tools to control pace and capitalize on a depleted Panthers squad. Expect a disciplined effort and a 3-1 or 4-2 type of game where New Jersey covers the -1.5 puck line.
