Skylar Thompson stinks. Not that Tyler Huntley is a great NFL quarterback, but he is pretty accurate and has no problem peppering a #1 WR. Tyreek Hill is quarterback proof (For the most part. The QB has to be able to throw the ball a little). These numbers are as if Skylar Thompson is playing QB.
Whether with Matt Moore in KC (6 for 76... 6 for 140 & TD) or Teddy Bridgewater in Miami (Twice came in as backup and Tyreek had 100+ yards in less than 3 quarters), Tyreek has the ability to blow a game open. Huntley is a career 65% passer who can get Tyreek into space. Even if it is on Jet Pass gimmicks, expect more of Tyreek today.
With Sneed coming in questionable with a hamstring issue, that is less than ideal for running in motion with Tyreek and chasing him around the field.
If it matters, WRs/TEs have been able to produce in spots under Huntley. In spot starts in Baltimore, he had 100+ yard receivers including multiple games with Bateman & Andrews. This should be a good combo for the top weapons of the Dolphins. McDaniel likes to draw up plays for his top guys... Snoop Huntley tends to heavily target backs and top weapons.
