Yankees vs. Cubs Free Play for August 1

We’re heading to Wrigley Field for Saturday’s free play and taking Yankees vs. Cubs Under 7 runs.
Max Fried is the main reason for the play. He enters with a 3.23 ERA and 1.02 WHIP and has allowed only one home run in nearly 70 innings. He has done an excellent job limiting traffic and preventing big innings.
The Yankees are also missing several major bats, including Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton and Cody Bellinger. That leaves New York with a much less dangerous lineup than usual.
The weather supports the under as well. Rain is possible, temperatures should remain mild and the wind is expected to blow in at Wrigley Field, making it harder for fly balls to carry.
With Fried on the mound, a depleted Yankees lineup and favorable conditions for pitchers, we’re expecting another low-scoring game.
